Hey Friends! Sweater weather is upon us, and I couldn’t be more excited. Even though summer is over, I really do have some exciting things to look forward to. Between holidays, weddings, bachelorette parties, A & I’s birthdays, dating anniversaries (we still celebrate y’all- we’re on year 7!), I couldn’t be more thankful. These next few weeks will be jam packed, although I’m looking forward to it, I’m going to still try to make time for myself & for the blog. I get so many questions about why I blog on top of already having a full time job and a full schedule. My honest answer is I blog because I love it. Love Always, Ashley J. will celebrate it’s first birthday in October, and looking back on this past year makes me so grateful. Alright before I start crying tears of joy, let’s get into the blog post!
While on my trip, I was able to pick up this Kate Spade handbag for 70% off at the outlet! I absolutely love the color, and it was exactly what I was looking for to use during the fall and winter months. It goes beautifully with almost any outfit and looks professional and polished for work. My necklace came in my Rocksbox and I couldn’t love it more. Kendra Scott makes stunning jewelry! As always, you can get your first box free with ‘lovealwaysashleyjxoxo’. Also for those wondering, my lip color is Nars and I’m obsessed with it. I posted awhile back that I was on the hunt for a fall lip color and this one is it! It is the Nars Satin Lip Pencil in the shade ‘Palais Royal’.
I also picked up one more thing on my trip, this gorgeous Loft sweater. I haven’t shopped there too much, but saw this on a hanger and loved it. It was the last one that was left in my size so it was meant to be. Not to mention the price was right for 40% off. I had to resist trying on half the store because their clothes are on point!
What you may or may not recognize is I love mixing old with the new. As fun as it is picking out new clothes, it can all add up quickly. I ‘ve had these olive jeans since my senior year of high school and I probably purchased these booties a few years after. Mixing old and new pieces is a fantastic way to utilize your wardrobe!
I hope you enjoyed reading about this outfit that will be my uniform for the months to come! More blog posts are on the way, but as always I love reading your suggestions!
