Not Your Typical Valentine’s Outfit

Valentine’s outfits don’t always have to been red or pink, sometimes black makes the best statement! I was able to remix a few classic pieces to create this effortless and edgy look to inspire you for the day of love!

Sometimes all a creative outfit takes is imagining your clothes in a different way! See this skirt? Well it’s actually a dress. Layering pieces in new ways can create so many more outfit options. My good blogging friend Jasmine aka the versatile wardrobe queen/expert inspired me by her perfectly minimalist outfits to create this look! Definitely check out her blog and instagram for some major inspo!

Fashion aside, Valentine’s Day can be a very painful holiday for some. Regardless of your title, relationship status, whether you have the best marriage or it’s falling apart, you’re waiting on the right one or the “right one” broke your heart, it doesn’t define you.

You are loved immensely and more important than you can ever imagine. If this day brings you pain, don’t let it have the upper hand. Buy yourself the flowers, grab a glass of wine or cup of coffee with your girlfriends, or simply do what makes you happiest. However you’ll be celebrating, I hope you feel loved!
